Wow!! That looks great so far! You have to keep us updated regulary for this one. I think there´s many of us, who are looking forward in to this. Btw. you have enough room in your bookself for the ready model? ;D

Thanks Kimmo for your kind words. I started these kits very recently and I must say they build quite straightforward, though I will try to update some bad designed details, especially on the BMP-1 (turret belts, light wires…). I will have to make room on the shelf for that one ! But it's already done !

Thanks J Pokki ! Quite challenging ! I will try my best to bring a model that would please finnish modelers, that would be the best reward one could hope for !

Well well well… Juho, Kristian… That's not fair if I tell you now…
Ok, I will give you a clue : the base will be round 80 cm x 30 cm. I already have selected a nice piece of wood that will fit ;-)
Yes, it will be a diorama ! I hope I will be skilled enough to make nice pine trees such as the ones we can see in almost any pictures of Finland.

But this is a huge project, so be patient. I will post updates to show you significant progress.

Thank you Kristian for the indications about trees in Finland, for sure it will help me when I work on the base of the diorama.

Now here is a little progress on the BMP-1. Many details are either wrong or bad or missing… so I took some card, some wire and some putty to get there :

Thanks for your proposal, that is very nice of you.

I think of a diorama with a background border of pinetrees, because when I think about finland forest I think about pine trees… I may be wrong. Any picture of common tree that could be found in the forest belt, or outside perimeter, will be welcome.

I could then work on an authentic Finnish forest environment ! Great idea Kristian, thank you!

I'm pretty sure there are plenty of pictures of Finnish forest in the Internet. ;)
